I bet you thought this was another Jesus post, and YES it is important to me that you know Him too! But this time, I'm talking about Bill Withers (is this a reverse Jesus Juke?). Bill Withers is The Man! If the name doesn't sound familiar, his music will. You probably know at least one of his songs by heart and most likely more. On top of being an amazing lyricist, he's a loving husband and father, he is dedicated to his art without the thirst for fame, and his story is amazing! He went from factory worker (he helped build airplane bathrooms) to famous musician nearly overnight. His contribution to modern music is significant. I know that Ms. H and I listen to him daily.
